A Course in Miracles is spiritual text written in our time and language. Metaphysically, it's similar to Buddhism. Some scholars who have studied it consider it to be the most important book ever written. It is also quite beautiful. The majority of the book is in iambic pentameter, a form of free verse used by Shakespeare.
